Mangawhai Heads Surf School runs daily lessons catered for most age groups, from beginner to intermediate level. You don’t need experience to learn to surf, nor do you need to be able to swim. Jump in with our beginners lessons where you’ll start off in waist-deep water.

All lessons take two hours with a qualified instructor, and boards and wetsuits are included. We keep things relaxed, safe and fun, so whether you are six or sixty, your first session feels like a good day at the beach rather than hard work.
